A structural engineer on site during the pre-construction meeting for a Stone Strong system installation and during the post installation inspection is a recommendation from Texas Retaining Systems to confirm that the fundamentals for a successful installation have been met. Among other things, the engineer will verify that manufacturing and installation Standards have been incorporated into the project, that the project complies with local building codes, geotechnical reports have been incorporated into the design of the system, and that the topography and drainage element of the Strone Strong system has been accommodated by the contractor. The engineer will also check for any design changes that would impact the Stone Strong gravity wall.
